May 14th is fast approaching, and the Service Block need your help to make the first ever Pennacook Lodge Day of Service a success. This event is interesting and unique because it is completely in the hands of every individual unit to take the lead in performing a local community service project. It’s the lodges opportunity to do our part in making Scouting thrive in our communities.
The Day of Service is a great chance for each and every one of you to give back to your communities, earn some service hours, gain leadership experience, and to make a positive difference. Each unit is responsible for organizing their own service projects so we’re going to need your help in spreading the word and engaging the members of your troop in this endeavour.
At the end of the day, all units will submit a total amount of service hours, and at the end of the day we’ll add it all up to see how much of an impact was made! So grab your shovels and your work hats and contact the service block here to find out how you can help out!
