On September 20th, 2015 the membership of the former Moswetuset Lodge (Boston Minuteman Council) and Nanepashemet Lodge (Yankee Clipper Council) met to decide the destiny of what would soon be a new lodge; not merely a combination of both lodges, but something different- something better. At this historic meeting the youth voted for Pennacook as the name of the lodge, the white wolf as the totem, created by-laws, and elected the inaugural team of officers. A meeting that will define the Order of the Arrow program in Eastern Massachusetts for years to come. As innovative and future-thinking Pennacook lodge may be, it’s important to remember and to reflect on where we come from. The tale is told in this Legend of the Spirit Keepers.
